The need for less cylinders is more economical for equipment providers and more convenient for the traveling patient. Clinicians can choose from 1 to 12 settings to match a patient’s exact oxygen needs, at rest or during exertion, and the unit conserves oxygen at a ratio of 1:3 or 1:6, depending on mode/setting. This electronic OCD operates, depending on mode, from 10-18 months on a single battery. Safety alarms and a continuous flow mode are included for added patient assurance.
